Our Lithium Ion Battery Incident Kit (LIBIK) is a full line of fire suppression tools that are versatile, simple and effective. The LIBIK is a robust solution to a wide variety of battery fire situations involving personal electronic devices (PED).

Its unique effectiveness lies in the use of , an innovative new dry fire-suppressant media which has been shown to extinguish thermal runaways in seconds without the use of water or halon. CellBlockEX is comprised of a very lightweight inert mineral that poses no health risk, and does not have a measurable shelf life or environmental impact.

• The LIBIK contains pillow(s) filled with CellBlockEX fire-suppressant media. It is the automatic release of the CellBlockEX from the PED-Pad that extinguishes the fire and reduce the smoke, gases and flammable electrolyte associated with a lithium-ion battery fire. No water or halon is needed.
• Includes a to shield the fire fighter.
• The layered fire-retardant materials are able to handle temperatures up to 1000°C (1832°F).
• The CellBlockEX component itself is a very lightweight, inert mineral that poses no health risk, and does not have a measurable shelf life or environmental impact.

The LIBIK bag’s geometry is such that it will fit anywhere that you could stow a carry-on in a passenger cabin, although these kits are equally valued in office, warehouse, and lab environments.
